The African Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ASG- QA): Implications for Internal Quality Assurance

This instrument and the associated users’ manual are intended, inter alia, to foster a shared quality culture, and facilitate the cross-border recognition of quality assurance and accreditation decisions for quality assurance agencies and #HEIs. However, the diverse #highereducation landscape, including levels of capacity in HEIs, is indicative of a need for ongoing capacity-building to facilitate implementation of the ASG-QA to enhance and/or develop internal quality assurance systems.
