We are excited to announce the recent appointment of Prof. Stephen Simukanga to the board of the Association of African Universities Southern Africa Regional Office (AAU SARO) at the Women’s University in Africa, Harare. Prof. Simukanga brings a vision of strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing among Southern African universities. He aims to work closely with the Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA) to support its efforts in building communities of practice and to integrate insights from other AAU members into the region. His focus will be on advancing leadership, professional development for higher education staff, and supporting the growth of young researchers.
